Bio – Paul Cristina

Paul Cristina serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Denton County Transportation Authority, overseeing commuter rail, microtransit, and bus services that connect communities across Denton County. Since becoming CEO in 2022, he has led an integrated multimodal transportation system serving the agency’s member cities and one of the fastest-growing regions in the United States. A registered professional engineer, Paul previously held leadership roles at BNSF Railway and served as a civil engineer officer in the United States Air Force; he holds a civil engineering degree from the United States Air Force Academy and an MBA from Florida State University.
