Bio – Jim Ross

Mayor, City of Arlington

Jim Ross was elected Mayor of the City of Arlington in June 2021 and has dedicated decades to serving his community and country. A former U.S. Marine and Arlington police officer, he later became an attorney and founded The Jim Ross Law Group, P.C., while also pursuing ventures in the hospitality industry. As Mayor, Ross serves on numerous regional and civic boards, including the Regional Transportation Council and North Texas Commission, and is active in national municipal leadership through the U.S. Conference of Mayors. A longtime Arlington resident, Jim is a devoted husband and father of four and grandfather of six.
