Bio – Charles Perry

Senator, Texas State Senate

Charles Perry is a lifelong West Texan, CPA, and graduate of Texas Tech University who has served in the Texas Legislature since 2011, including in the Texas Senate since 2014. He currently chairs key Senate committees focused on water, agriculture, rural affairs, disaster preparedness, and flooding, while also serving on several other legislative and statewide water policy bodies. Outside of public service, Senator Perry has been actively involved in community and faith-based leadership in Lubbock and has been married to his wife, Jacklyn, for more than 40 years; together they have two children and five grandchildren.
