Bio – Alejandro Meade

Alejandro “Alex” G. Meade III serves as Executive Vice President of Economic Development for Texas Regional Bank and is a member of the Texas Transportation Commission. With more than 20 years of experience in economic development and public administration, he has held leadership positions including City Manager of Pharr and CEO of the Mission Economic Development Corporation. Throughout his career, he has led projects that generated significant job creation and more than $400 million in capital investment. Meade holds degrees in economics, business administration, and public administration and is a Certified Public Manager (CPM) and Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP).
